Zero-Trust Infrastructure Protocol

Security Protocol & Hardening

Our engineering standards for cryptographic attestation, zero-trust perimeter defense, automated vulnerability fuzzing, and secret zero-knowledge vaults.

Effective: November 1, 2026Standard: v6.4.0-HARDENEDGPG Verified Releases

GPG Cryptographic Signing

Every commit, release tag, and container manifest is cryptographically signed with our verified hardware keys.

Zero-Trust Network Mesh

Mutual TLS 1.3 across all inter-agent RPCs, ephemeral WireGuard overlay networks, and strict perimeter isolation.

Automated CI/CD Fuzzing

Daily Trivy, Snyk, and OWASP automated dependency scans. Zero critical/high CVEs allowed in release candidates.

1. Threat Model & Core Defensive Posture

Cafronic engineers production systems assuming adversary presence on the public Internet. Our architectures adhere strictly to Zero-Trust Architecture (NIST SP 800-207). No network component or AI agent is inherently trusted based on network location alone; all interactions require dynamic, context-aware cryptographic verification.

2. Cryptographic Code Integrity & Supply Chain Security

Software supply chain integrity is safeguarded via deterministic pipelines:

  • GPG Signed Commits: 100% of commits by Cafronic engineers are signed using GPG keys registered on GitHub with verified identity status.
  • Cosign & Sigstore Container Attestation: Docker images built for deployment are signed with cryptographic provenance attestations (SLSA Level 3 compliance).
  • Software Bill of Materials (SBOM): Every production release includes an automated CycloneDX or SPDX SBOM detailing all transitive dependencies.

3. Secrets & Credential Zero-Knowledge Architecture

Cafronic prohibits the storage of plain-text credentials, database connection strings, or third-party AI API keys in source code repositories or unencrypted environment files. We natively integrate:

  • HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, or Azure Key Vault with automated 30-day credential rotation.
  • Ephemeral STS (Security Token Service) IAM role assumptions for automated CI/CD runners.
  • Pre-commit git hooks that block any commit containing entropy matching private keys or API tokens.

4. Autonomous Agent Guardrails & Prompt Injection Defense

Multi-agent systems face novel AI-specific threat vectors. Cafronic deploys multi-layered defensive guardrails:

  • Deterministic Schema Validation: Agent tool calls must strictly conform to Pydantic/Zod JSON schemas. Arbitrary code execution is sandboxed in isolated micro-VMs (e.g. Firecracker / gVisor).
  • Dual-Model Prompt Injection Classifiers: Untrusted external inputs are scanned by dedicated adversarial classifiers before passing into primary reasoning loops.
  • Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) Circuit Breakers: Any autonomous financial transaction, database schema migration, or irreversible API action over configurable threshold limits requires mandatory human multi-sig confirmation.

5. Penetration Testing & Vulnerability Management

Prior to production cutover, every platform undergoes rigorous vulnerability assessment, including static application security testing (SAST), dynamic analysis (DAST), and dependency CVE scanning. Critical and high vulnerabilities must be remediated to zero prior to release sign-off.

6. Responsible Disclosure & Security Dispatch

If you discover a security vulnerability or anomalous behavior in any Cafronic platform, please report it immediately:
